Greater Englewood Chamber Supports Roll N Peace XIII: Eat N Peace Edition

The Greater Englewood Chamber was proud to partner with Think Outside Da Block (TODB) for the 13th annual Roll N Peace: Eat N Peace Edition, a powerful community event centered on wellness, unity, and neighborhood engagement.

This year's event brought together residents, families, youth, elders, and visitors from across the country for an eight-mile bike ride through Greater Englewood, creating opportunities for connection, movement, and positive community interaction. The ride highlighted the importance of healthy living, community safety, and fellowship while encouraging participants to reclaim neighborhood spaces through collective action and joy.

As a community partner, the Greater Englewood Chamber hosted a refuel station along the route, providing riders with water, Gatorade, and snacks to help keep them energized throughout the evening. The stop served as a moment of encouragement and support for cyclists as they traveled through the neighborhood.

The event also welcomed attendees participating in a national community safety convening and featured special guest host Leon Rogers of the WGCI Morning Show, whose presence helped amplify the spirit and excitement of the evening.

We are grateful to Think Outside Da Block for continuing to create meaningful opportunities that promote health, peace, and community pride. Events like Roll N Peace demonstrate the strength of collective engagement and the impact of investing in spaces where residents can connect, celebrate, and move forward together.

Together, we continue building a stronger, healthier, and more connected Englewood.
