The Basic Financials for Business (BFFB) program is designed to help Englewood small business owners strengthen their financial knowledge and make smarter decisions with their money.

Through a structured, hands-on learning experience, participants gain the practical tools needed to better understand their numbers, manage expenses, and position their businesses for sustainable growth.

WHAT TO EXPECT


A Practical, Step-by-Step

Learning Experience

The BFFB course is delivered across four sessions, with each class building upon the previous one. Participants will walk away with foundational financial knowledge that can immediately be applied to real business operations.

WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?

By the end of the program, business owners will better understand how to:

• Track and calculate the true cost of labor
• Manage inventory and cost of goods effectively
• Identify and organize operational expenses
• Read and interpret a Profit & Loss (P&L) statement

Each session is designed to break down financial concepts in a way that is clear, practical, and relevant to real small business operations.

What Participants Gain

By completing the program, participants will:

✔ Gain confidence in managing business finances
✔ Develop stronger decision-making skills around spending and pricing

✔ Learn systems to keep business finances organized and transparent

Participants who complete all four sessions will receive a Certificate of Completion, recognizing their commitment to building a stronger financial future for their business.
