Eric McLoyd is a firm believer in supporting economic development. That passion led him to co-found and become the first Executive Director of the Greater Englewood CDC. He later co-founded the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Englewood Chamber Foundation. He has also had a hand in other organizations, such as E.G. Woode, a co-op for entrepreneurs of color.
 

Eric holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and is a Northwestern University-Kellogg School of Management alum. He is passionate about personal finance and has spent over ten years working in the financial industry. In 2018, he launched his company, Hubris Global Wealth Management, to support high-income entrepreneurs in building and sustaining generational wealth. Eric has also worked in real estate for almost two decades, supporting developers in the finance and legal aspects of Affordable Housing and other community development projects.
 

Eric believes that constantly creating is the key to his happiness and success. He is a poet, an aspiring DJ, and a freestyle rap battler back in the day. Eric hopes to parlay his experiences into becoming a well-sought-after keynote speaker.
