Director of Development and External Affairs

Farpoint Development

Morgan Malone is a sought-after social impact designer, economic development practitioner, and real estate advisor based in Chicago. With nearly a decade of experience in the field of economic and community development, from community organizing to managing multibillion dollar projects (totaling over $16B), Morgan's career has amplified one common goal -- transformative impact. Most recently Morgan was the project executive overseeing the redevelopment of the former Michael Reese Hospital site, Bronzeville Lakefront, an $8.5B, 80+ acre development on the Southside of Chicago.

Prior to her time at Farpoint, Morgan managed administrative operations for both Midway and O'Hare International Airports, oversaw the administrative processes for the $8.5B O'Hare terminal expansion program, and led, designed, and implemented the enterprise transformation of the federally regulated credentialing offices for both airports. Her experience spans across labor, community development, and government, and culminates with commercial real estate informing her holistic lens for economic and community development. She currently consults with organizations seeking executive level support on real estate development projects, community and economic development projects, and organizational design and efficiency strategy.

Hailing from Old Dominion University, Morgan's undergraduate studies in Women's Studies and Public Health have aided in defining social impact initiatives across Chicago and nationwide. Morgan serves on the boards of the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless and the Greater Englewood Chamber of Commerce Foundation, is a Commissioner on the Cook County Commission for Social Innovation, is a member of the World Economic Forum's Global Shaper pipeline program, and has been featured  and profiled in Forbes, the New York Times, and the Chicago Tribune, to name a few. In 2020, Morgan was named a Crain’s Chicago Business “20 in their 20s” honoree and in 2022, an Ariel Investments and WVON 40 Under 40 Gamechanger.
