Mr. Carthan is currently President of C. S. Carthan and Associates, Management Consultants. As a business leader with extensive management consulting experience and significant executive leadership accomplishments in the areas of strategic planning, risk management, financial management and business development, Mr. Carthan is trained and experienced in providing valued added consulting expertise to senior management in addressing and solving issues and problems that a company or organization must confront to grow.

 

Mr. Carthan brings a wide range of business experience attained over 40 years in international management consulting firms, Fortune 500 companies, small businesses and not for profit organizations. 

 

Some of Mr. Carthan’s previous career experiences are Consultant and Manager of Corporate Planning at Booz, Allen & Hamilton, Inc., Chief Financial Officer, Soft Sheen Products Company, Senior Consultant, Esmark, and Manager of Accounting, Container Corp. of America.

    

Throughout his career Mr. Carthan has contributed his experience and skills to nonprofit organizations such as University of Chicago, Coordinating Council For Minority Issues, Council Member (education), Urban Development Corporation, Board Member and Secretary (real estate development), Human Resources Development Institute, Board Member (mental health) and Family Rescue, Board Member, Strategy Committee (domestic violence).

 

Mr. Carthan’s educational background reflects a Master of Business Administration, Booth School of Business, University of Chicago and Bachelor of Science in Commerce, De Paul University.
